| Thirteen Jobs I don’t want
1.Factory (Been there, done that) 2. Fast food (I don’t want to serve people I went to school with.) 3. Laundress (I have a hard enough time washing my own.) 4. Dishwasher (Ditto) 5. Prostitute (Speaks for itself) 6. Prison guard (I don’t want to get beat down.) 7. Teacher (I have my own kids, don’t need more.) 8. Nurse (I don’t deal with blood very well, so I guess it’s out.) 9. I had always wanted to be either a teacher or a nurse. Actually went to nursing school for a while….
I suppose there’s a reason I’m a writer and NOT those other things.

HAH! Great list, and listen to Maggie! She’s the PC one.
I wouldn’t want any of those jobs either. I think I have the best one in the world, personally.
My TT’s up…things you should know about the vampires in my books, The Gardella Vampire Chronicles…

Hahaha great list! Believe me, you are not missing much by passing on the fast food jobs. I did one in high school and it was a DRAG. The worst part was how I smelled when I came home – YUCK.
Happy Thursday!!

Great list. Though #9 A psycologist….if your already getting listening to crazy people, may as well get paid for it.

Great list! Hee, many of those things I wouldn’t want to be, either. And I know I couldn’t be a waitress — I don’t multitask well and I’d always be forgetting to bring people their refills, their dessert menus, etc.

I’ll add wasteworker to that list. Or crime scene cleanup. Or pretty much anything where I might get dirty.
Happy TT! Mine’s up.

I’ve had one of those jobs – Dishwasher. I did it in a restaurant that my mom owned and then again in college.

Add motel maid/housekeeper. You would be amazed at what kinds of messes people make when they know they don’t have to clean it up.

I wanted to be a doctor as a kid until I figured out that I pass out at the sight of blood. As a result, I became a teacher. But writing is less stressful.

This is the nice thing about being a writer. We can be it all — for a VERY short period of time. Some of it could be entertaining, so long as you know it’s not real AND that you can escape quickly!
Happy TT — where’s the list of jobs you’d kill for?

Maggie- I know I should have been PC, but let’s keep it real. We all know that we don’t say sanitary workers we say the trash man or garbage man.
Jaci & Colleen & Susan- I think y’all have the best jobs ever.
Christina- If I worked there I prob. would have to cook more. (People are really nasty and I don’t want to know what happens in fast food (or to it either).
Miranda- That could be said for the prostitute job too. Wait, it has been said.
Thomma- I have enough people irked at me as it is.
Gypsy- Not cleaning the blood, no way, no how.
tvaddict- If push came to shove I could do it. Hell, I do it everyday without pay. Man, my life really sucks.
Missy- I see the mess everyday with my two little girls.
Christine- My condolences on coping with other peoples kids.

When I was in high school I wanted to be a teacher… now I’m so glad I’m not. I could also never be a daycare provider. I can barely handle being at home all weekend with my children when they are cooped inside from bad weather… I don’t think I’d last a week with 5 kids running around driving me crazy
Interesting list you have here. I enjoyed reading it. Thank you for sharing and thank you for visiting my blog and commenting on my list

I actually loved working at a daycare. But it paid squat.

I don’t want to work at all.
Where’s that rich husband who’s waiting for me? *g*

Rashenbo- Sounds like you’re a woman after my own heart.
SciFiChick- You’re a brave woman. All that whining…
Milady- That works for me as long as I control the money.

Teacher — yuck. That’s so overrated.
