My Reviews
I’ve posted this in the blog, but I feel that it deserves its own page.
I posted this originally on March 9.
My name is Scooper, aka Stacy, and I’m addicted to books. I love them. I love the smell and the weight of them in my hands. I love that I can escape into a world and live out impossible scenarios with gorgeous men. I love the idea of them. To be perfectly honest, I wouldn’t want to live in a world without them.
But with this feeling comes another urge. One to share my feelings about the books I read. I like to give an honest opinion and it doesn’t matter if I’ve been given an advanced copy or if I’ve bought the book. If I don’t like the book, I’ll share why I didn’t like it or attempt to. I will never say that I enjoyed a book that I didn’t like.
Lately, I’ve been extremely lucky in finding wonderful books that I’ve gobbled up. I’m happy to have been able to post positive reviews, but I wanted to reaffirm my position on book reviews.
I don’t review every book I read. If I ask for an ARC or am offered an ARC (and accept) I’ll review it. Negative or positive, the review will show up. I’m expecting most to be positive as, I’ve read the blurbs or about the author, and they sound appealing to me. I’m not being forced to read them.
Now, here’s to hoping the books I’m about to read are as good as the last several books I’ve reviewed.
