If you’re a junkie for Lynn Viehl’s books like me you may appreciate the short story she has posted at her site. It takes place right after Dark Need but before the next novel. This short story is about Rafael and a nun (who really isn’t). It’s about 80 pages long and it satisfied my need for a new Darkyn tale…for the moment. The short story also has more about the next book in the series: Night Lost. Between the excerpt from the end of Samantha’s story and the excerpt from the end of Rafael’s story you probably have the first five to eight pages for the new novel. I have an idea about where Viehl plans to take the newest installment but plan on withholding judgement until I read the book this summer.
