I’m going to bookmark this one! Treasure hunting sounds like a blast. We always talk about going down and hunting for diamonds, but we still haven’t actually managed to get down there.
If I put this on my things to do before I die list, it’s your fault.
It sounds like so much fun!
Cool! I’ve actually sifted for diamonds in Arkansas 🙂
*smartass alert*
Why go to Oregon for Truffles when you can just go to a good chocolatier?
heh heh Het
To be honest, I think doing some of this would be fun. But then, so would spending time in a chocolate store! *grin*
thunder eggs!!
“Where ya going rhi?”
“To hunt Thunder eggs!!!”
for some reason i keep wanting to change it to thunderbird eggs.
wonderful list and wouldn’t it be fun to be on a treasure hunting trip that went to all these places?
Lesley- I think it’d be fun if I didn’t have to take the girls. They’re too young to enjoy it.
Milady- It’ll be on my list too.
Noladawn- Did you find anything?
Susan- Why am I not surprised? I now dub thee, Chocolate Queen.
Rhian- When the kids are older, I’d like to take a solo vacation and hit all of these places.
Lancelot loves that show!
I metal detect for a hobby, mostly because you never know what you will dig up.
I’m mostly interested in the older coins, tokens and jewelry for the history it represents.
I would get a thrill out of doing everything on your list. It would be a thrill just finding these rare items.
Mike
