In general I read and review both romance and urban fantasy books.

but I like the cover as well. I am listening to Bone Crossed right now and I really love this series
I always envisioned it in worse condition too. But at least the back bumper is falling off. I went back and looked at the cover for Iron Kissed (it shows the front of the car and engine) and it isn’t too bad either. I hadn’t thought about the ring. I’m going to assume that since she’s a mechanic she rarely wears it. We really can’t see anyway since her left hand is in shadow. lol I love the Mercy series. Can’t wait to get my hands on this one.
